Agri-tourism
One seed. Endless possibilities.
Licking County has a long-standing farming tradition; many agricultural acres have been in the same families for decades. Corn, soybeans, eggs, and dairy are the staples, and we couldn't be more proud to share our bounty with the rest of the country.
But alongside our centuries of crop and livestock farming, something else is happening: our specialty farms. These farms are an experience in memory-making, something worthy of a road trip or long weekend adventure, something worthy of your camera.
In October, that beautiful signal that autumn is here—the pumpkin—is back, like an old friend, asking us out on a fall evening to laugh as we get lost in a corn maze grown to act as a chaperone to the festivities.

Even in deep winter, we don't slow down as we earnestly begin planning open-air farmers' markets, roadside stands, and food-related festivals. These hubs for the produce and products of spring, summer, and fall are perfect for visitors to experience our passion and gratitude for growing and harvesting. And, yes, it is appropriate to take a dozen ears of sweet corn home as a souvenir of being here.
